چکیده

The Tarim River is the largest inland river in China, which plays a crucial role maintaining regional ecological security and carbon cycle/dynamic. However, “green corridor” Taitema Lake region at lower reaches of has unclear environmental changes future dynamics due to influence water conveyance. Hence, protecting China strategically important not only ecologically but also socially economically. In this paper, temporal spatial features fractional vegetation coverage (FVC) 2000–2018 are analyzed calculated using Landsat TM/OLI remote sensing images MODIS data products. Additionally, trend FVC study predicted analysis pixel-based Hurst index. results show that exhibit positive development after implementation Specifically, from 2000 2018, areas low, medium, high expanded 1.28 km2 179.87 km2, resulting an increase 140.52%. Spatially, regions around lake entrance channel saw significant 9.71%. middle part region, accounting for 1.96% area, displayed relatively fluctuations FVC. future, River, 11.33% will likely increasing with either extremely low or decrease 14.16% overall area. Because effects conveyance were more on than influences temperature precipitation, should remain primary means restoration Lake.

The effect of meteorological drought on vegetation dynamics in Iran

Drought as a complex ecosystem crisis can affect vegetation density and health. Iran with an arid and semi-arid climate is exposed to this phenomenon. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the effect of drought on vegetation. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of meteorological drought on vegetation dynamics in Iran. In this regard, using MATLAB software, SPEI index with time ...
